As i commented a few weeks back, my ixus was dropped and the LCD light went... if i look carefully i can still see the image, but not clearly enough to do anything with it.
I have opened up the back off the case and had a look inside to see if there is anything obvious and when i did so, i saw that this ribbon cable was damaged [see image] It is only a tiny fracture, but it poses me two questions :-
1. Does this cable have anything to do with the LCD light?
2. Is it repairable? or replaceable?
