Got bored & started reading about HDR, i know this doesnt really look as HDRish as most things, but im new to CS3, and dont really know how to use levels and stuff yet.

Did you try multiple exposures and blend them together, or just play with CS3? You might want to try photomatix

It was 3 images then used cs3 to merge them, but i really need to look more into what to do after this stage, ie the actual processing.

When shooting these, and I admit, I never have, you might want to use like f/22 or as high as the lens goes and in manual mode to let it expose to the correct amount, then under and over expose by a known amount. I was just noticing that bokeh in a HDR just doesn't do anything for the shot.
