I went back to see if I could get more photos of Bighorn Sheep today. They were where I hoped they would be, the light was some better and I got a few more photos. I also got some sequences of them butting heads, I will post them later.

The Bighorn sheep are in the rut now, and it is somewhat peculiar how the rams interact. They will go up to each other (like the 3 rams that are grouped up) and it could easily be confused for affection, but it seems to be more of way to instigate a contest of dominance. Meanwhile, the ewes and lambs go about their business as usual, until a ram gets a little too aggressive.
