Thanks to those of you that helped me out last week with my Airshow questions. Overall, I am pretty pleased with my shots considering it was my first time. I learned alot, and cant wait until next time. Hopefully i'll have some longer glass. I know the prop shot isnt blurred, but I didn't switch shutter speeds in time....

Very nice results...
1) Great angle and exposure is pretty much spot on. A little bit slower SS would have (wait, never mind .. you knew! ;)
2) Simply a matter of timing. Let him get past the shrubs and Bob's yer uncle...
3) Stunning "Hog" shot
4) Looks like you might have "Stopped to take the shot..." When panning, you have to follow through and keep swinging with the subject as you push the shutter button. It's natural to want to pause right at exposure. Practice, practice, practice...
Nice Job!!

Thanks for the comments, flyingphotog,. Though I am overall pretty happy with the photos I got, I found out how much I want longer glass. Trying to track a little spec in the distance moving very fast with a 70-200 wasnt easy. Here are a couple mor Hog shots. I love these planes . When I was in the Army they were always a welcome sight.

Hogs from Barksdale AFB, 917th TFW. They are certainly making the rounds. Nice shots.

Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to them, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
