Has anyone else had a problem with printing 8X10's with the D30. Mine print as a 6.5X9, I have switched printers, labs, etc nothing seems to help. A friend also has a D30 and has the same problem. Canon was not able to help, they state the camera is fine.

You cannot print 8x10 from the D30 with out cropping. That is a 4:5 aspect ratio. The D30 sensor is 1440x2160 pixels, which is 2:3. The physical print size will depend on what printer resolution you set. At 240 dpi, which I use, my D30 prints come out at 6x9. I could change the dpi and could 4x6, 8x12, etc., but never 8x10.
If you print at 180 dpi the short dimension will be 8", but the long side will be 12", so you will have to crop 2" or 360 pixels. You should find out the best dpi for the printer you want to use, and then crop and resize (if necessary) to get 8x10.
