I'm interested in trying my hand at senior photos, or at least the style. My question is lighting equipment do you use for outdoor photos. does it take a while to do the session as it seems as every pose you would have to adjust the lighting.
Thanks

That's a bit of a loaded question.
What camera equipment do you have and what is your experience with it?

Your camera and natural light would work well to start! A reflector would be nice too.

thanks

I guess that maybe instead of what equipment, I should ask how to use the equipment I have for proper lighting techniques for models. All my work so far has been sports.

RESEARCH! Look on here for poses. Find an interesting location and take a friend or family member that wouldnt mind posing for you and have your shot at it. If you dont have someone to hold your reflector then get a stand. Searching around on here for lighting techniques and poses. Go have fun!

Get yourself a light stand, some sort of wireless flash triggers (skyports, pocket wizards, etc.) and a softbox or shoot through umbrella. Use that with your flashes, move the light around and see what works and what you like.

I agree. Off-camera shoot-through umbrellas are great for outdoors. Even try a beauty dish. Use the sun to your advantage, too.
