Hi All,
Brand new here and finally in the market for a DSLR. I'm very impressed with the honest input people have regarding others work posted to this site so I registered. I've been photographing the coast of Maine for a number of years with basic digital point and shoots but need to get more serious. My cameras are a Canon S1IS, an SD300 and an Olympus C-2040 (old 2.1mp). I have a web site mostly devoted to cruising the coast of Maine with a number of photo galleries. I'd appreciate any feed back concerning my photos. Please keep in mind these are all done with inexpensive point and shoots mostly the Olympus C-2040 2.1 megapixel but some with the S1IS.. I'd appreciate any feedback regarding lighting tips, framing/placement of objects in photos use of foreground etc.. You can respond here or to the guest book on my web site.. Also let me know if you think I could take significantly better pictures with a DSLR imediately or is there a huge learning curve???
Thanks in advance!
