Were you using your 420EX too? Because using the flash as a fill in daylight can really make pictures like this pop! A good tip I learned... always use your external flash if you can, even on the sunniest of days (ESPECIALLY on the sunniest of days).

No, I just used the exsiting lighting conditions. I was standing on my deck shooting the shots. The kids were about 40 feet away playing. Do you think my flash would have made a difference at that range? It was about 5pm when I took the shots.
