My chocolate lab named Dutch keeping tabs on a bunch of seabirds from a vantage point along a steep bluff overlooking the Puget Sound in Washington.

Simply stunning. My only nitpick would be, personally, I'd like to see just a little more of the neck going left, but that is just a really tiny nitpick. Love the bokeh. Was this the 70-200?

I hear you about the composition. Dutch had been looking at me then turned his head when he heard the birds on the water. This is nearly a full-frame shot.

And, yes, it was taken with the 70-200L 2.8 non-IS.
