Firs time shooter here. I shadowed a wedding and now I have a dilemma:
1. Currently on my UNCALIBRATED monitor, my post processed images look great on the screen as well as on others. It's vibrant and beautiful. People love it when they see them on their monitors.
2. My i1display calibrator arrives and I calibrate my screen. It will be in sync with printing at WHCC, but I also read here that it'll make your monitor colors looking duller on SCREEN.
3. Using that logic, doesn't this mean my WEB/ONLINE images will appear dull and not vibrant on others' monitors (ie clients/friends visiting my site) if I photoshop according to MY monitor?
So it Would be wise to provide two copies of images to my clients then:
*One copy that looks like crap on their screen but calibrated for their printing
*Another pp'ed by me that looks pleasing to general uncalibrated monitors where the images pop. They can share this to their friends etc (which has far bigger audience than looking at prints)
What do you guys do? Do you give them two copies like that or just one?
