Florida Critters

The heron was in a zoo, as that type is rarely seen in the wild around here. The Key Deer was in the wild on No Name Key, where the 3' tall deer are protected. In many cases, they will walk right up to you.

Sparker, seems to have been a good day for deer today. I got great shots of them but up in Maryland. Same way, they come right up to the car...
The heron reminds me of tricolor herons, but, I'm sure it's different since I don't recall them having a blue beak. It is really nice shot of him.

That heron is awesome! One of these days, I'll have to make my way to Florida and see those tiny deer. They sure are cute. Good job all around.
