Ok, finally got the nerve to throw something up here for some C&C: :)

both were cropped out of the original size and downsized for the web. I think I'm going with the original look IMO and I must say I have got a lot more slider work to experiment with ! hahaha

Definitely stick with the original. HDR is really designed for situations where you want to get the most depth out of your images: more detail from the shadows, no blown highlights, etc. It really isn't intended for shots where the dynamic range is relatively mild (as it is here).

thanks for that JGR, I agree but had to give it go anyhow so I could really dive in to "PM" and see what it's all about!

It's experiments like this how we learn. You did succeed in bringing out detail in the wings. I have more eagle pics with no detail to the underwing area and unusable because of it. HDR might help bring them back. I do think you got too much blue cast though.

Yep, and I really got tired of mess'n around with this one and just went for it! hahaha
