I took a trip to Western Nebraska at a bad time, It was supposed to be clear on friday night, and that didnt happen. I had a total time of about 3 hours of clear night skies. plenty of time right? wrong. It was also a few days past half moon, so that didnt set until 3am. and it was cloudy every night after 12.

I did get some pretty good shots though of Orion, and wide field pleiades here...

The added light doesn't help but these are still very nice shots. Can't wait to see your results when conditions improve. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Nighthound but that is probably just my oversensitivity to light being a night person.
