A95 not powering up

I was just given an A95, that will not power up. I did try to Google it for a solution, but instead I just end up with a ton of reviews. :confused: I was hoping someone on here could possibly shed some light on what might be my problem........I do know of a few people who have jumped inside of these things and been able to fix a few small things (like this, hopefully). Or.......maybe everyone will just talk me into shipping it back to Canon for a repair.....for the $100 fee, or whatever it is.

There is a very small micro switch on the memory card door which could be the problem.
