Why pictures taken with a Nikon D100 in a Canon forum, nice as they might be?

Its what i can afford, as I'm a student, anyway its only a camera. If you want to donate one of your 1D's to me, i wouldnt complain.
I dont think theres any rules on non canon users from using this forum, is there.

No, but people do assume Canon by the very nature of the forum. I am in the habit of checking Exif for settings, was surprised to see what the camera was and wondered why a Nikon user needed to post here, that's all. Do what you like as far as I am concerned.

OK I agree that people assume that everyone's a Canon user, I dont think that using a Nikon really effects what photographs your taking, as its all in the settings you use.
I joined this forum because i like the content thats on here.
Ok Ken, time to grow up now, im a Nikon user, so what !
If you want to argue with me feel free to PM me, as i dont want to clutter this post up. As i want to show some of my photographs, not argue what camera I use.

I don't think Kenny meant anything offensive, equipment doesn't make us photographers, we do, let's shake hands and go take some great pictures to showcase for the rest of folks here :D

Btw, whereabout in Wales are the tracks? I might just pop around one weekend ... I'd love to shoot anything that moves fast and jumps high! :D

I really like the dirt bike pictures, they look really good. The first one looks like that guy is gonna get his head run over.

I tell a lie, i do own a Canon, i have a T90 Film camera, very robust and reliable and has tolerated a punch from an angry protester.

I liked them a lot, right up until I found out that they were shot with a Nikon.

Now they suck.

Of course, I'm not serious.

Nice shots!
