Here are just two shots from my deal the other day. I hope you enjoy them and since this was my first shoot, I really could use your input! Thanks all!

Very cute...great lighting and poses. They are a tad yellowish on my monitor but that could be from all those gold leaves.

I printed one out and it was just a tad yellow... i mean like very very little.. its probably the leaves tricking our eyes.. thanks for your comment

i think the pictures are great the only thing that could have possibly made them better is if you were standing directly in front of all of them and not off to the side.... however it still looks great Love them.

what did you do for lighting on these and what was the sun doing?
They look great.

it was way way cloudy... like no sun... and all I used was one 430 ex off camera with cybersyncs sitting on a lightstand.. here are two more for you.. I think I have one of the set up of on of the shots with the speedlight there if you want to see it.

The first two dont have retouching done to the face but 3&4 do. Enjoy.

just a little bit on the plasticity. I would kill for some overcast days around here where it isnt raining. it would make my job much easier. Your shots look great btw!

yeah... it was like 35 degrees outside too hence the jackets... lol

Nice job! They do look yellowish to me, too. I think a b/w conversion would do well on these.

Nitpicking...

In #1, the girl on the right - looks like her eyes are half closed? I think she's supposed to be looking at the dad but it doesn't look right to me.

3 I think the girl in the charcoal jacket's head is tilted to much - looks awkward. And I think her coat is fine, but I think the green coat detracts from that shot.

4 - if you lose the plasticity and crop a little tighter, and fix the yellow cast, I think is really nice!

her eyes are just like that... when she smiles her eyes close alittle bit.. thanks for the critique though!

how is this one without the platisicity?

Dave - I think that's better. I'd still vote for a little less yellow, tighter crop and tone down the darks/shadows a bit. Here's a quick edit - I'm still not thrilled with the color here, but to give you an idea what I was thinking. :)

I see what you mean.. for soem reason the color on yours seems alittle flat though... is that what you were going for?
