I went up to Houghton, MI area a month or so ago and worked a corner for the Rally America organization. Of course I brought my camera equipment with.
Very much fun. I will be visiting again next year for sure.
Here's one of the first shots I took that day.

sorry but I converted you image to a link. Please read the Image Posting Rules (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=151328). Images can be no larger than 1024 on the longest side.

...and I converted it back with a proper size. :)
Tough crowd. We should be making the requirement, "No one allowed with 9 year old monitors" :D

Nice picture! I was under the impression that people working the event were not allowed to enter in the competition because they had an unfair location advantage, did that change? Either way I really like what you came up with, I was there too but never got around to submitting my picture for the contest :(.

Not sure if the rules changed. When Rally America interviewed me after I won the contest I told them I was working a corner. They even put that fact in the article they wrote about me. So I'm guessing it's a null point.
