g'day guys,

I've had a long break from photography, but my interest in it has reignited again recently. The last month especially, has really helped me in becoming somewhat confident enough to start my first project. It's something I hope to finish within the next few months. Anyway, here's the start to the collection - 3 I've just finished processing from my outing last night.

Love to get CC, there's always room for improvement.

Last one... me like.

First one... me like, but it would be better with some people/action in it.

Also I can see the reflection on the window, which a bit of a bummer because the colours in that shot are rad man (is it 1985?)

The last shot is poster worthy!

I like these. So your new hobby is windowshopping late at night? Been thinking of doing the same thing here, but the cops are a bit weird about that. :)

welcome back to the wonderful world of photography, good comeback too. I like all three and don't mind the reflection in #1...and yes the last one is poster material, very nice.

@ stealthy ninja - thanks man. i was really mixed up with doing a b/w conversion or leaving the colours in, in the end i opted for the cyan red and yellow combination which i think works really well. are the reflections really distracting though? on my monitor (calibrated) i've made it pretty low key, so you can see a lil reflection, however, only really on the sides. a polarizing lens would help with these kind of things yea?

@ canonloader - haha what can i say, the lighting that some of these stores leave on are gorgeous :p and i think you should give it a go! at 3-5am very few cops around, and even if there are, i don't think you're breaking any laws?

@ p33ve & bikerider - thanks guys. i really appreciate your looking and comments. strangest thing that my mum even asked for a print, considering it's so incongruous to her cliched tastes lol

Don't worry, the reflections are not that bad. I was just looking at all the stuff inside so much I just noticed them. They're not distracting really. Just would have been more RAD (will that word ever come back in style?) for them not to be there.
