These are some night shots I took with my A630 on Florida State University's campus. This is my first time taking night shots, so any tips are welcome!

the 2nd to the last one doesn't do anything for me but the rest are quite nice.

I would play with the white balance a bit before shooting. Maybe it is me, or my monitor, but everything looks really yellow. Other than that, I like 'em.

Nice pics,especially for night with a P&S...Shot by hand or did you use a support?..Settings??..

These are excellent, well done.

I have an a630 and hardly use it any more but after seeing these I think I'll put some batteries in and start taking it with me.

Yeah definitely adjust for the yellow / tungsten white balance. And when you get a DSLR, never forget, P&S have their place too :)
