I found a roll of film I shot through a Holga a little more than two years ago. The scans came back today. There is something pretty cool about waiting for film to come back.

the first picture is awesome. nevermind the blur. the composition, expression, lighting and bw is fantastic.

THese are pretty cool not taking into account the focus on the first shot...
What kind of shutter speed do you think it was using, because I notice Jackson's left arm seems to show great motion blur... it's interesting.

Who shot the picture? Lexie?

Did you add the vignette in PP or is that from the camera? Clueless about Holgas and how they work.... lol...

Lastly..... geez... look at how little Jackson is.... Sooooo cute. I love that age. Seems like they just get big too fast.

Holga's are fun cameras but you cant take it too serious. The entire camera except for a few parts are all plastic, including the lens. You can focus with high tech settings like Close, Medium, Far and Infinity. The viewfinder does not look through the lens so it's pretty much trial and error. Choice of aperture is sunny or cloudy :)

I have no idea who actually took the picture of Jackson and I. It was probably my daughter but it was two years ago :)

These weren't even sharpened. I had the lab put them on a CD and just resized.

I did get some interesting shots off that roll.

That's crazy.... I don't understand the need for a plastic camera with focus on close vs. infinity... sounds weird... but then what do I know...

The images look cool... but the focus variance would be enough to make me crazy. lol....

Looks like you got lucky nailing the aperature then.. exposure really does look good. weird, because we try to hard sometimes to get a good exposure and you chose either sunny or cloudy and they look great. ha!

That's what I meant silly..... We now with DSLR cameras try so hard to achieve perfect exposure... all kinds of settings at our finger tips to play with... and we sometimes have difficulty...

But this camera.... you get two choices.... and it actually turns out.. it's just weird.

The shots are kind of cool in a weird way.... You have such a beautiful family. :)
