This was a totally accidental wasp worker on hand. I was holding the leaf when the wasp disappeared under another leaf and then re-appeared walking down my hand.

great shots brian. i dont think i would have been still enough, with that thing on me, to take any pictures. lol but yours turned out great. i like # 2 the best!

Kurt and Scott- yes it's cleaning it's antennae- that's what the spurs on the front legs are used for. Thought it looked a bit like one of those Sumo wrestling poses :)

Yes the antennae do look interesting - I suspect they are covered in tiny sensory pits
