Hi Stephen, Looks like you did good. The thing about websites for me is that they will never suit everyone. I can tell you what I like and don't like but that doesnt mean that you need to change anything. Everyone has their own style.
If it were me.....I thought the font was a little small on the left hand side of the page also I would name your galleries......such as Sports...landscapes....macro....instead of gallery 1,2,3

Nice web site. It loaded really fast on my connection. I like the menu layout, but agree the font could stand to be a little larger. Some of the links didn't do anything, but I'm guessing that's because you don't have it all live yet.
