I snapped this shot of Poutine the other day . . . on the way out to the truck. He was walking up for a daily dose of Iams, to go with his rodents and etc., et al.
Wish that snow would melt down some . . .

Poutine says to RJ, "Can I keep him, huh, can I? The deer just followed me home, so I can keep him, right?"

You named your cat Poutine???

Yes I named this cat Poutine, now remember I have never seen it nor tasted/eaten same, however the orange and white stripes are the fries and special sauce . . . He was just called Big Orange prior to being named proper. The deer herd has grown to around 14 head, up from the standard eight we have had since just prior to the first snow that stuck. They are becoming a nuisance of sorts . . . but we do our best to not make them 'run' and use any of the precious energy they sorted for this long cold winter.
My friend has opened some bales of grass hay and put out some corn for them in the center of the block over from ours . . . everyone trying to help them on till spring.
Back to cats, we keep a crew of five or six down toward the out buildings, not quite tame, not quite wild . . . if you have other names for them, lol, we will consider such.

Oh Deer, I herd this form, was a little strange, but a cat named "Poutine"...come-on! If I had a buck for everytime I herd that I'd be rolling in doe.
I certainly hope this is not another case of baiting ... :)

Yes even my pets have pets . . . the deer are not as much a problem as the moose however. With those you must give the a wide berth, they are not afraid of us, so we must watch for them in winter, well summer too!
Thanks for the 'punny' lines and enjoying the shot with me. My kind thanks to all.

LOL, Poutine is a cutie for sure . . . how much work would it take to make that strip of grass along my back sidewalk green? This might be the only way I will see grass this month, and I am talking March here.
