Yeah, the straightened one feels very "powerful" and sturdy. The unstraightened one would perhaps make a nice extreme fisheye.

thanks guys, i think though witht the kit lens my hdrs look a bit cartoony, with my 50mm f1.4 they look better, i need to get a decent wide angle lens
