Sigma 50-500mm f4-6.3 EX APO RF HSM with Canon D60

I have been considering purchasing this lens and would like to know if anyone has used it with their D60 and would give me their opinion. I understand it is a pound heavier than my Canon 70-200 f2.8 (yes ... the dream lense and it is SO true, SO true) which is not a problem ... but I need a greater distance than I can get with it and the 2.0x extender ... while maintaining the fast focus as well.

Go to the second page of "New on the website" and I believe there is at least two albums there. There was also an extensive thread on this lens over at fredmiranda.com, which gave it high praise. The thread is now aged out.
