I shot this yesterday on a trip to the Sonoran Desert Museum here in Tucson. I'm pretty happy with it, but I wonder if the loss of detail in the foreground or the top of the cactus is a bad thing or not.

On second thought, I think I really like it. What do you folks think, don't be shy? BTW, this was pretty much right out of the camera with a little dust spot fixing.

I love my metal-mount nifty-fifty! :)

i'd go for cropping off the top and bottom.

I like it, if you decide to crop it, don't take too much off.

I think the cactus getting lost in the darkening sky needs some attention.

I like it! I took a similar shot last night (great sunset last night, huh :)) from my front porch, but with an agave where your saguaro is. Mine reached up and melted into the sky, as did yours. I like your shot a lot better than mine, though :)

I'd crop under it, but I like it 'melting' into the sky:)
