Every time I go to the track, I wind up with little bits of rubber all over everything - lens, camera, camera bag, me, the kids.....The only downside to taking these photos I guess  Nice captures, btw

are there mostly built japanese cars there? everything i've heard about ausie seems like it's THE place to go if you want to build some sick cars and not have to worry about legal/import issues. any truth to this?

These are some great shots Shane! I like the first (Burnout) and fourth (Showing Flame from the exhaust) shots especially. Now that I think of it Wheelstanders (Third) are always nice as well. I guess I like them all. :D

Take heart Shane.. There is a fair bit of politics involved in photography of this sort, especially when it comes to the mags ( they usually have their preferred photogs). Just be persistent and make yourself and your work known and it will come...
