Thanks you everybody for helping me on nightshots
I gave a fresh try today near my office after work today, here are the results.
Not great from compostion point of view, however I was simply trying to learn. Let me know how these are & please let me know how I can make them better in anyway.
I shot these in RAW, adjusted saturation, exposure a bit & did a bit of sharpening.

That's awesome! I really like them, and the compo isn't all that bad. It's all in what you see [or don't see]. I'll be in Sasebo tomorrow, buddy. I'll email/PM you. I plan on buying a car, so maybe [depending on schedule and distance] maybe I can come up to the big TK and check it out!

I like the last one Raj... the steps leading into the picture give the viewer something to help them, it's clean and interesting. I'm not too keen on the other two though... there seems to be no focal point to them.

Nice shot. So, I was wondering, can you get Canon stuff cheaper there, than in the states?

Actually NO ! Its always more expensive here, not only canon/other brand/product but almost all electronics except video camera's as far as I know. For example you can get almost two Sandisk 1 GB ultra II cards in states for the price of one in Japan ....
Rates may be comparable but never cheaper. Other problem is - people here are crazy for new models, so old models are not stocked much (unless they are really popular one's), so you cant really take price advantage of buying a old model.

& if you want a english model then you got to pay much more for example my Sony overseas laptop was considered as "imported" & so I had to purchase at a higher cost.

Plus usually you dont get discount packages like "welcome kit" & stuff like that available in States via internet.

I'm really loving all these Japan, China and Korean shots, They are awesome. Japan looks like a neat place to go, really busy though.
