I would like to purchase a shutter release accessory for my 450D to take night time photos.
I prefer one of the IR remotes (for other uses as well) but I can't seem to clarify if by keeping the button pressed will that keep the lens open or is a cable the only mechanism that will do this?
The RC1 states its an immediate trip or a 2 second and the RC5 is a 2 second delay. Will these not function for my requested function?
