I hope someone can answer a couple of questions for me.
I'm making a wedding album for a client... First time doing this.
She has chosen a traditional album, that you have to assemble by hand.
The brand is called Tapp, and the album is Savannah.
I have base pages with mats, and the album cover. It all gets put together by placing rods through a metal binding.
What do you all use to mount the images to the mat pages? I thought the pages would include some kind of adhesive, but I must have ordered the wrong pages because there is no mounting.
I need to get it finished up this weekend, so if you can offer any advice I would be very appreciative.
If you need more specific information regarding the album, please let me know.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. :)

I've never played around with those types of albums, but I'm sure some acid-free double sided tape will be just fine.

Thank you for the suggestion. I do have some tape called herma-fix that is for scrapbooking..... I was just hoping to get advice from somone who has actually made this kind of album before. Maybe I should contact my supplier and see what they say about it.

That's what steered me away from offering the traditional albums. There never seems to be any instructions on how to put them together.
When I ordered my first self-mount flush mount album, I went nuts because there weren't any directions. How many centimeters from the spine should I put the picture... is the glue so sticky that if I put an edge down on it and it's crooked, will it rip the page (the answer to that is YES!! unless you have a repositionable album)... I would actually be will to pay my supplier money to give me directions on how to assemble the products that I'm buying for the first time.

Yep... you are so right.. there are no directions at all.. and it's not too difficult to figure out, but I can't afford to loose more than 2 page at most. lol.... Directions would have been a good thing. Go figure!;)

Definitely call your supplier tomorrow and see if anyone there can explain how to do it, if no one else here can help you out. If no one here does give you any advice, and you end up finding out how it should be put together, make sure you post that info here. I'm sure you're not the first person to question this, and I doubt you'll be the last!

Good Idea, Thanks for the suggestion. :) I'll be sure to do that, and hopefully someone will benefit from it in the future. :)

You may want to google the album style name to see if someone else hasn't had this problem on another forum, or maybe even took the time to write out the directions and post them on the net.
