Hi,
I'm new in this, but I'll venture to post 2 photos.
I took the first photo in the night.
The second photo is my attempt to take macro photos.
Both are taken with Sony P73.
I'll be thankful to hear your opinions.
o snap!

Thank you for your opinion! :)
I just reattached the first image (the old one wasn't with
a good quality).

Both are small images, and if you only have a Sony then you have the wrong forum. I'm sure there's a forum out there for your brand. :)

Hehe, next time I'll take a shot with my Canon EOS3000, but I bought it
not long ago and therefore I'm here (to improve my skills). :)

The POTN home page clearly states that this is a forum for Canon enthusiasts. I don't think that the fact that he owns a Sony should preclude him from using the services this site offers. That said however, I don't think that he'll have great success getting help with the specifics of his particular camera, since most of us own Canons.
Welcome to the forum, Photoeye, nice homepage.

Photoeye,
welcome to the forum :D
We are happy to have you here ... and believe it or not, if you spend more time here, you'll most likely start to crave for a Canon DSLR
But your second shot clearly shows that you have a capable camera at the moment and know how to use it.
I like it very much.
Best regards,
Andy

I love the detail and sharpness of the flower. Not crazy about the first photo.

the rose is beautiful...it would have been a little better maybe if you could have included a little more of the top and bottom mabye. the first picture doesnt really focus on any specific thing... if you were trying to focus on the tree, there should have been more of a contrast or zoom to emphasize it.

Thank you once again, Guys! Very kind of you! :)
To be honest I really didn't have any idea about the first photo. I just
liked the mystic look of the composition.

Now that I've looked at it enough, I'm liking the first one. There is more there than meets the eye...for instance, why is that snowman skulking in the shadows? What is he up to?

The first photo looks a bit noisy. Where was it taken? On a snowy night? For the second photo, maybe you could tone down the flash a little, coz it looks a little harsh.

I really like the flower pictiure. I think if you use Photoshop to remove the pot it would be even better. Great photo.
