It did come out nice. So this might be a stupid question, but is it possible to use the plugin on just a selection, a layer maybe, or does it always work on the whole image?

Yeah i opened a jpeg and tone mapped it. lol then spent some time cloning out the Photomatix Watermarks.... lol

lol... i know..loli think i got a bit heavy handed with the hue / sat tool on this one. i tend to do that, i think for some reason, that the colors are more muted while im in PS than in the real world.. or te internet boosts them somewhat.

come to think of it, i very well might have done a hi pass on it.. i cant remember if i did or not... i dont remember if i even knew about that then...lol
