We are going to get 18+ inches of snow this evening, but yesterday I was at the beach and took these with my 200mm f/2.8 - they are a little too close for the 200, but I like the clarity of the lens and thought I'd share these samples.

Careful - that thing will poke your eye out! Seriously, they are real crisp. Here is an uncropped shot of our pet macaw, Penny, just before ripping the UV filter off my lens...they aren't always willing subjects, are they?

That first one is wonderful the second looks a little washed out, but still good
