I just bought some for a gift from Wal-Mart. "Better Homes and Gardens Collection". They had like 8 different styles in different sizes pre-matted in the popular measurements. I picked up 2 frames matted to 8x10 for about $30. If you get right up close, you can tell they are fake wood. But if your photo is good enough, noone will notice!

I just got two very nice frames (8 x 10 size, matted to 5 x 7) at the Buck or Two for $4.50 each.

I've looked at the IKEA RIBBA range. Reasonably priced but I cannot get them in the A2 (594 x 420mm) size I need.
I've seen some rather nasty black metal clip together things locally for about £16 but I'd prefer something with a little more class.
Anyone got any leads?

Michaels or Moores when they have their 1/2 price sale.

JLC,
Thanks. But I don't know either company. Do you have any contact information? Here in the UK I hope, not halfway round the globe.

You can get some good ones from www.picturesframe.co.uk
For delivery charges for single or small quantity its better to contact them as the usually sell in bulk.

I bought some of these in the 16X20 size a while back at a Kohls store. Wait for 1/2 price sale and they are a real bargain, and a very nice frame for the money. They are solid wood, include a white bevel cut matt and the back has mounted hangers for landscape or portrait. They also have this style holder for the back. I don't know it's called but it does make it easy to change pictures occasionally without prying out staples and such. Looks like the 11X14 is on sale now in walnut and black.

Hobby Lobby, I bought all my frames half off and got custom frames 1/2 off as well.
I get my smaller frames 8x10 and smaller at Wal-Mart, their Mainstays frames are built really well. I also got a 16x20 frame on sale at JC Penny the other day for $99.99 it was originally $300.95. I love Christmas sales!
Also if you get a Kohl's card you get coupons off in the mail, sometimes they are 30% off which ROCKS because everything in Kohl's is on sale 24x7x365.
