Hello All
OK, so I pick up mt 20d tomorrow, so confused over this and the 350d that I will get both and have the 350d as a backup.
But now I have started looking at, or the lack of, backdrop sheets and the tripod stands to hand them. They are either very hard to find or very expensive.
Does anyone have a good source for them, or perhaps some useable DIY tips for getting a good 7ft high by 3/4ft wide system that I can take to customers locations to use.
Thanks all

Are all the companies I used/am using to set up my studio. All have equipment/backdrops etc. that would be suitable for portable use.
And if you haven't already, check out what is available on eBay in the UK. Quite a few companies offer equipment (new) here. You can also get some second hand bargains.
An example, this new background support and four cloths for £117 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3860&item=3876807574&rd=1&tc=photo). I bought one to get me started, works fine.
Cheers

Colorama www.coloramaphotodisplay.co.uk do a huge range of paper roll colours. If you go to their website they will give a list of dealers near you (they dont sell direct). I have a full width white, a full width black and a full width Chroma Green.
Though expensive for a roll of paper, they are very thick and matted to cut down on reflections. the Chroma Green is very handy for portraits as you can matt from it and then insert your own backgrounds digitally. I have found you can use a length 5 or 6 times and you get about 6 drops out of a roll making it about £1.50 a session.
Another option is to get a white decorators cover up, which come in some BIG sizes at about £10 from Homebase and the like, whch you can die to a colour. They do have a seem in them though and they are very hard to iron flat.
Lastly you can get curtain lining in white, black, green and blue to about 60" wide. That works very well if you have someone to seem it for you.
