Two weekends ago I attended the Dance Flutty in Saratoga, NY. It's an amazing weekend of music and dance. With Contra, Tango, Swing, Latin and a lot of other types of dance, there is something for everyone. The halls are full of musicians playing their music. All in all a great photographic experience.

I shot almost exclusively with the 85 f/1.8. I needed the super fast focusing to keep up with the action.

If these were published, wouldn't they require a model release? Would they on this type of forum? Just curious......

Very cool. I didn't like this as much as your 1 year on the road, but still cool.

Pradeep,

Thanks a lot. It's definitely different than my year long journey last year. Basically one subject, dancing, and a few musicians. It is interesting though how my shooting has changed last year it was all wide angle shots of the whole dance rooms, big formations of dancers, lines to the end of the room. This year mostly single dancers and couples. Much different feel to it.

Stan,

Thanks. I was in the dance rooms most of the weekend, and then I realized the sun was out. There are glass walled walk ways between the venues and musicians congrate in there and play. So, I took a break from the dancing and came away with 2 & 4. I really like them too.
