Not this weekend - unfortunately! I was lucky enough to go in 2000 for the race, just before my first child was born, now I have to stay closer to home - for now anyway

The first one is amazing, I like pictures that looks like that. What were your camera settings?

Lovely shots, which tracks you would be visiting this year then?

"I want that one!"

Wish I could go to the British GP, bu the FIA is an arse for photographers, you can only go if you're strictly local, or one of the big agencies.

#1 is very cool, btw!

It is boring, boring, yawn, yawn. It is as far from real motorsport as you can get IMHO. The UK GP is my weekend off and I never even bother watching it on TV. You may think this is odd coming from a motorsport photog, but trust me, the GP is nothing but a money circus and has nothing at all to do with sport.

For those countries starved of proper circuit racing maybe it is the highlight of their motorsport year, but here in the UK the majority don't care.

I'm with Ken on this, F1 = Corporations moving piles of cash around. I wouldn't mind if the racing was exciting but it simply isn't. If they would simply introduce "something" to make the racing closer then they might be on to a winner, e.g. winners ballast as used in BTCC.

Here in the UK we have much better stuff to get excited about: British Superbikes, British GT, rallying (at all levels), hill climbing, sprints, drag racing, etc. etc.

All of which I might add you and I can go and watch and even photograph without spending huge sums of cash.

F1 = Waste of time and waste of Sunday afternoon TV slots. I would be more excited if they aired reruns of the Antiques Roadshow or similar. ;)

Anyway, rant mode off. I really like the first shot :)

Cheers
