Ya know what. I don't really think it means a damn.

I'd love a new D700.

Your point?

Nikon made some quicker jumps recently, and I know of some people that have made the switch from Canon to Nikon because of that. I'm sure that Canon will follow suit. Both systems have their pluses and minuses, bugs and so on.

Personally, when everyone I shoot with uses Canon, being a rogue shooter on Nikon wouldn't benefit anyone as we can't share gear.

With all of that said, your post reminds me of an ad I recently saw on Craigslist advertising wedding services. "We have over $35,000 in professional camera gear that you can't buy from Best Buy or Wal-Mart." Great. So I guess you can just set the camera up in the church and it does all the work for you!

Cool. :)

I had to laugh when I read that CL ad.

Checked your (flickr) pics. Some fun stuff in there.

And to comment on one of your pics here. Check out Proraso, and Merkur #180. Had the same problem as you!

As I've said so many times now, it's not the camera, it's the person using it. Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax...it's all good :D.

As far as the image goes...I think it's wonderfully done. Looks like something you'd see in an ad in one of the photog mags.

Peace,
JIm

Pretty awesome work :) Love the background, Love the foreground too... I love Nikon!
I just love Canon more :D

Def a gud ad for a magazine... I would add the Nikon logo in one of the corners, or bottom centre..

All that work just goes to show that it's not the camera it's the photog behind the camera. Your photo fails to impress me because it's so off center, left to right, when it should be centered perfectly.

If all this equipment is yours personally, then I'm really impressed. If I owned everything included in this photo, I'd be the most resolute Nikon Fan you could ever know.

BTW, you know how to take pictures?

Now, I'm really really impressed. I'm as much into post processing as I am into photographing. This is an awesome display of craftsmanship. The Dude rocks!

Plus, I'm also relieved to thnk there's a possibility that he isn't really a Nikon shooter:lol:
