JP's '33 Ford Speedstar has a 347cid small block Ford motor putting out 350bhp. It has a "Rat Glass" chassis, C4 3-speed auto transmission & Winter quick change 3.55 rear end.

It's been 2 years since he finished it, & he drives it 250 miles a year. JP is an ex National Drags racer & when I asked him about the E.T., he said "I just don't care anymore!" I guess I can understand. Did you see the "Scrambler"... "expensively at the strip"? ;)

I caught him on the street during the Dream Cruise...

There is some really nice detail on this one and you captured it very well Frank. Those of us who were lucky enough to spend a lot of time in the garage and actually build find these photos just great. In the early sixties, I did a lot of building having full use of my Dad's wonderfully equipped garage and most of all his knowledge. I only wish I had been into cameras at that time.

Thanks, Wally! I envy you 'cause I had to build my own garage when I was racing, but at least I had the sense to get a heated one when I bought the attached house. ;)
