POTN G-Series Speed Challenge #4 - Old People
In honour of Bryan's "Papa", this challenge is Old People (not Seniors).
In the speed and stress of living our own lives, we often overlook the older people around us -- parents, relatives and strangers alike. So go find someone (or a group of someones) OVER 60 and take his or her or their photo. And while you're looking through the viewfinder, remember they were once young and vibrant and accomplished -- like you.
Your photograph can be beautiful, poignant, whimsical, desperate, posed or candid. Because there are so many emotions and situations that can be invoked, I imagine that technical excellence will play a fairly large part in the selection of the winners.
You have until Sunday midnight GMT, 6 March 2005.
To submit, click Post Reply and put your Photo Name in the Subject Line and your Camera Model in the message.
Put your photo FIRST, any comments AFTER.
Good luck.
Don
P.S. If you take a photo you know they would like, consider printing and framing it for them as a gift.
