Anyone else noticed that Canon's PhotoRecord manages colors differently than other programs like QImage Pro?
PhotoRecord puts out a more saturated and slightly higher contrast print than QImage (with color management turned off). The difference is quite amazing, but I much prefer QImage's interface and printing capabilities.
Just interested if anyone has figured out exactly what processing PhotoRecord is doing (Leveling? Input device color profiling? Exposure analysis? ???) that makes the prints look better than straight from the camera to the printer.
