I just started using Lightroom 2.1 and am getting CS4 soon. I currently use Frontpage 2003 for my website (www.burrellimages.com (http://www.burrellimages.com)) and wanted to know if there is anyway to use the LR web section to load into Frontpage? Or if there is anything in CS4 that will load. I see the different formats of styles in LR for web, but not sure if Frontpage can handle the info right.

Can someone help on this?

Ye Olde FrontPage 2003 has an HTML editing mode, and a WYSIWYG mode. In HTML editing mode it can do whatever can be done in any other editor, since you're typing in the code yourself. So certainly you could integrate LR that way. But in the WYSIWYG mode, it would have to already know about LR, where its files are, etc, which it can't since it was written before LR.

Brandon,

I am no html or css pro, but one way to get it into front page is import the forlder into your site. Then look at the index.htm file source code within that folder. If you look closely, you will see code directing you where to cut and end copying your code. Now what to do next is a mystery that I have not figured out yet...

So, right before that code showing me where to start cutting, I inserted a table. This now acts as the the header of my page and holds navigation buttons for the other pages.

Sadly, none of this is published to the internet yet. I hope this made a little sense to you. I find that looking at the source code of other web site I like helps me figure out a little on how they designed it.

Best wishes,

matt
