Stupid question I know, but I'm looking to get some CyberSyncs for my Vivi 285 (sick of ebay rubbish) and am getting confused by what's avaliable. I read that you can get a transmitter/reciever combo for $70, but I'm seeing $59.95 and $69.95 for each component, which is outta my price range. Is $130 really the minimum cost for this tiggering system not including cables?

Damn these things are expensive. For the electronics and plastics that go into them they must be making a fair profit margin.
I'm looking at well over $200AUD just to get these things onto my doorstep, so I might be giving them a miss. Pity, they sounded quite good.

Isn't it true of any electronics gadget? All they are basically electronics and plastic put together, so should be dirt cheap by that logic.

They are quite good. Very reliable. Pity about all those added charges down there. What's this I keep hearing about our 'global economy'?

Eh heh heh
For a while, with the USD very close to the AUD, it was buying heaven time.
Now, things have settled back and that exchange rate hurts.
Kicking myself for not buying up a few months ago. That famous hindsight :(
