Hello everyone

This basket is was made by the traditional Micmac Indian Tribe of New Brunswick. Canada, like they were made in the past.

It is made from Birch Bark, naturally dyed Porcupine Quills and sinew. It was made by a band elder and are sought after by basket collectors.

That's a beautiful piece, Maz. Indigenous Americans were such resourceful people at using the things nature provided..

Let the Chinese try to figure out a way to mass produce that cheaply. :lol:
