GT4 photography....

I don't know how many people on here are aware, of the new game Gran Tourismo 4, but I know the car guys will be more than aware.
In this new edition of GT4, you are able to take photo's of your car.
You are able to choose your aperatures, your time value, your white balance, rotation or images, zoom & focal lengths, and focus.

It's pretty hot this game.. I took some images of my 240sx, that I have ben racing with, and having so much fun.. cause it handles so good.

well you need a usb pen drive, then you can store the images on it.
It's a really neat feature that they added ..

Do you happen to know if you can get the photos off with an Xport?

I have an Xport as on old GT3 player I used to verfiy and watch replays. And Im hopefuly getting a copy of GT4 next week.

Actually, being a GT fan. I think the photo mode is a sad edition (attempt) to bring anything else interesting in to the series. They should have dug in to the car tuning more, instead of adding photo mode....

Hopefully Forza Motorsport will bring something new to the table.

Besides you can off load your photos, you can also attach an USB Epson printer to print them... yahh(sarcastically).

Well actually with the addition of photo mode, it makes it all the more interesting.

I really like the game thus far.. It's a bunch of fun.. I have made a killing with cash 3.8 million, so far. Playing this game is truly fun..

I love the GT series also....but when are they going to add a realistic crash system. I am all for realistic car games and I think technology has come far enough where they can add it. My main concern is I remember I would take the Escudo Pikes Peak and hit full throttle raming through corners like nobodys business winning. I just think they should take the next big leap.

They'll never add a crash/damage system to that series, thats a no-no from a lot of the car's manufacturers. ^_-
Although in gt4 that made it so when you crash hard enough you get a 5 second penalty..every damn time.. *beats the crap out of the dvd*

The reason the game lacks the crash system is like Ogrt said, the car manufacturers wont allow visible damage on their vehicles. The game Devs understand this and tried by adding the penalty timer and it vibrates the crud out of the screen. As for photos...

The game sparks way more interest to me than GT3.. I couldn't be bothered with GT3 to be honest.

I just finished the GT world championship. I used the toyota minolta race car that you win for the El Capitan endurance race. I love this game! GT was the reason I bought a playstation so many years ago.

I havent done any fooling around with photo mode though. Mainly because I don't have a jump drive to store the photos on. I think I'll pick one up soon.

Glad to see that there's some other GT fans out there!!!

Yeah, I also purchased my Plastation to play GT3.. I bought them both at the same times. At the time I got PS2 pretty cheap to 200 bucks for PS2, 1 controller, ATV Off road 2, and the NET adapter..
So I was happy.. lol..

I just got the R8 as well... then i did an endurance with it, and what do you think the car i won was? AN R8! Grrrrr... Anyway, i'm donw with beginner and pro, working on extreme and the 'hard' races under special condition. I'm 40 some percent complete.

Hmm..I've been playing this game and I thought there might be a chance someone posted about it here. I absolutely love this feature in GT4. Hey guys,

My first post on these forums, i'm hoping to pick up a 350D sometime soon. For the time being i'm just browsing the forums checking things out, trying to learn as much as possible so I can get straight in and start shooting when I get the 350! Anyway, feeling a little left out I stumble on this thread and remembering I took some screenshots thought i'd post em up. They're from PGR3 on the XBOX360. The only way of transferring them was to use my phones camera so apologies for the quality although I did a quick PS job on some.
