It seem's when i go to take a picture that the screen LED does not show the picture until after i have taken the picture I reset the camera and checked the LCD brightness.
Been using a Sigme 15 MM fish also the standard lens 18-55MM

Let me see if I understand your problem. You would like to see the picture on the LCD before you take the picture, right?
Unfortunately, this doesn't work. SLR cameras by definition do not have life preview.
This is technically not possible, because the mirror is in front of the sensor, until you press the shutter.
Sorry ... but that's the way it is.
Once you get used to it, you will most likely prefer having the image in the viewfinder, as you can see what you are photographing a lot clearer than on an LCD screen.
(If I totally misunderstood you and that is not your problem, please apologize)
Best regards,

If I understand you right that's how it's meant to work.
The sensor on the RebelD like any other DSLR or film in an ordinary SLR is not exposed to the light until you press the shutter fully down, therefore you can't use the LCD to compose/focus the shot you can only use the viewfinder.

That's perfectly understandable ... many G series users find that the loss of the swivel LCD is a drawback of DSLR's.
But in the end, I hope that you'll feel that the other numerous advantages of a DSLR make up for this.
Best regards,
Andy
