Just a quick query regarding digital frames. I've been putting off buyng one because it seems very hard to find one that has the right features, right price and more importantly - takes CF cards from my EOS 5D. So - it occured to me - there are a few that feature a USB slot (for memory sticks), but I am wondering if they will also work if I use the USB lead from the camera itself.
I just want to show photo's direct from the card without having to transfer them to another card like a SD one first.
Any expereince or advice?

I have one that is aprox.5x7
It uses the standard CF card. I think that it can also use an SD card, but I don't.
Don't know about the other features, because I've never tried. I do like the frame, however. Even has a remote. Can scan continously or pick a photo and leave it there.

I have a Kodak Easy Share.. It uses CF or SD cards, a Jump Drive or you can connect the camera directly to the frame. You can set it up to present slide shows or set it for a single photo. Quite nice actually. I like to use an old CF card (small ones that I don't use any more.. 256MB or something) transfer some .jpeg files and I'm ready to show my photos.

I've seen a couple of these digital frames but always found the resolution poor, not good enough to make me want to give them preloaded to family etc.
