I own a canon A70 and I'm considering buying A95 for the more mega pixel it would give me. I would like stay in the Axx series line because it gives me the option of creative shooting while still being compact enough to stuff both the camera and my camcorder in one bag. Moreover Axx series fit my budget.
I have read A95's review and most them seem to complain of visible noise even in normal shooting condition. I have seen the sample images posted in the review columns and yes, there is noise. A95 users please forgive me. I'm just bringing to light what others have observed and posted in reviews. Personally I like canon Axx series. I understand that the noise could be due to high-density CCD it uses.
Owning an A70 for quite sometime, I pretty much understand what the Axx cameras can and cannot do. I would like to hear from the owners of A95 about the picture quality of these cameras. Has anyone of you upgraded from A70/A80/A85 to A95 and observed any difference in picture quality. Is it worth investing for a 5 mega pixel monster? Highly appreciate your advice.

A95 over A70
- swivel LCD
- 5 megapixel
- 640 x 480 @ 10fps movie mode
- PictBridge

If you dun print > 4R size photos and not interested any of above features, stick to your A70.

I still like my wife's A70.
