Thanks, Marie. What does AIB stands for? "Almighty's Insured Bank"?
So surely a good place to put your savings in. ;)

thanks a lot JFrancho, Dave , Michael, Clay, Sandy, Mills , Lonnie ,
Maz and Pierrot.
a.i.b. means 'allied irish bank' Pierrot
I put the lights under the picture to highlight the bank name,
as I was a fair distance away I could not get a better shot catching the church in it properly
(gulp)
just want to say.
please bear with me
I feel a bit guilty posting this picture if the message looks like I am laughing at the church
I have absolutely nothing against the church
I heard so many comments over the years about things and the church
so much so that I really enjoyed seeing the situation in front of me for a picture.
I can enjoy that too.
there never has been a problem with my idea's of the church.
I separate some things which I know are wrong and keep the good things
there is corruption everywhere
but I love what there is to gain from most of all which the church gives.
the money in our parish is used for the parish helping to rebuild the old beautiful churches, which need a lot of repair
and keeping them warm.
also helping to build parish schools, youth halls etc etc.
a lot of prefabs are added on to the schools as there are just so very many children added to the list every year that the schools are over flowing
I never had any bad feeling towards the church.
but know there is sometimes and for different reasons.
and that's to be expected.
not that I have my head in the sand. no way
but it's not to say we leave what it's all about
reaching a close relationship with God ..hopefully
the church is there helping everyone who sometimes take it completely for granted.
for example it's used weddings , funerals and christenings
for many and various reasons
and not always for the right ones
when there are good people they are really good
a few bad ones give a dog a bad name .....in every walk of lifehttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif
but I wouldn't have been without prayer , ever
and the quiet ( or full) church helps to focus on what's important .
out of ourselves
and deeper thoughts of where we are all going eventually.
depending on each one's own thoughts about that aspect of what's there after our death
we each take what we want from it ...or not
the choice is ours.
no one is forcing anything.
it's all free will
just wanted to say I only show shots of situations
never laughing at the real situation or the people involved
I loved the sight when I saw it when going down a side alley
and I really appreciate that you all enjoyed the idea of the shot.
we all can laugh at ourselves and our ideas about life and all the things we do
... for whatever reasons
thanks a lot

Marie: I couldn't agree more with what you said. One can and should be able to see the humor or levity in most things, because they are there if one looks. All great humor has a little truth in it, and that's what makes it funny. I don't think anyone should take that photo, or the comments that we all make as showing disrespect to the Chruch. If anyone does than maybe they take things way to serious and should get a life. Just my 2 cents worth, (all that was left after the direct deposit )
