There is a real 'live' feel to this and the boys and girl (Ithink) in the background have a wonderful curious and happy expression, as if they do not often get the chance to be photographed. I'm happy that part of the boy on the right is missing because it adds to the live feel. No posing here: It's like they saw you and ran up excitedly to you and asked "Take our photograph Mister".

I really like it. :) It looks like it was taken 40 years ago for some reason, and I mean that in a good way.

I like it. Personally, this is the kind of shot I would've taken on some Kodak B&W 400 film... and I miss the grain here. Otherwise, this is a GREAT photo.

Thanks to all for the very kind words.
Some grain may be visible to some as this WAS taken on film - but it was Plus-x which has less grain...

I like it. Warm the tone up and I'd wonder if it was a Keith Carter image. Very nicely done!

Are these boys in a box you found, and looking out at us? Or are we in a box into which they are peering? And if it is the latter, what do they see that makes them seem so knowledgeable? So intent? So warmly fixated upon us? And what are we doing that's got the young girl racing to see? I'm flattered that they find me so fascinating. How to return the compliment?
Thanks for sharing,
Ted
